ACFO Andrew Thomas says the risks to these children's lives is not "significant" |
First thing you have to do is sign this online petition here that reports that we could lose our station before Christmas, which would be a disgusting kick in the teeth to the 15 brave men of Blaina who when they go to work, never know if they will return home to their families.
Currently at the time of writing only 1,391 of us have made an effort and we must do better by making our friends and family aware of this petition and urging them to sign it.
Now I know that there are hard copy petitions to be signed in The Cooperative, Central Garage, East Pentwyn Stores and the Piece of Cake on the Rising Sun, so go and sign one of them also.
I suspect that hard copy petitions will have more of an impact than electronic ones. Besides, if you are a bloke, you will get a chance to flirt with their excellent humoured and attractive check out girls, who do a great job in keeping us fed and fuelled.
Digressing for a short time. You should use local shops and services like the Coop and Central Garage and the others mentioned whenever you can. I know you can save a few pence by going to the supermarkets but I would rather pay a few pennies more and keep what businesses we have left in Blaina viable.
If you know where there are other petitions to be signed, then please let me know so I can update this article.
Please also link it anywhere and everywhere you can.
